Boss Tank · at the Boss Level Awards & Gala

A great pitch is nice.
Growth wins.

Boss Tank is a 5-week business growth competition — not a pitch contest.

Selected founders work directly with Arnell Milhouse in weekly office hours on growth, customers, revenue, and execution. Every week, yconic — the AI judge — reads the numbers and tracks who is actually moving. The businesses that grow the most earn the stage at the Boss Level Awards & Gala.

Human + AI Judging

Two judges.
One reads every number.

Every business in Boss Tank is evaluated by two judges: a human who has built companies, and an AI that has read every number. Arnell Milhouse — founder and former Entrepreneur in Residence at Brown University — brings the judgment. yconic scores every application, tracks every weekly check-in, and delivers its own on-stage read of each finalist before the human verdict.

Growth is scored as percentage improvement against your own baseline — so a food truck can beat a software startup. Track 2 founders are scored on validation: interviews, waitlists, pre-orders, prototype milestones.
50% growth vs. your baseline
30% shipping your commitments
20% engagement

Each track has its own leaderboard and its own winner — the two tracks never compete against each other. Baselines and results are lightly verified for finalists.
